About Skipify

Who is Skipify?

Skipify is a modern checkout experience that simplifies and speeds up the checkout process. We’ve partnered with your favorite financial institutions to securely link credit card and other payment information so that you can pay anywhere, easily.

How does Skipify work?

Skipify recognizes you by your email wherever you are. It automatically launches and sends you a one-time code, so you can pay and go without needing to remember a password or enter your credit card information every time you check out.

Where can I use Skipify?

You can use Skipify at participating online retailers, restaurants, brick-and-mortar stores, healthcare providers and personal services, with more joining every day! Pay online, by email, or even by text with more options being added all the time. Currently, Skipify is only available for customers located in the US.

Payment Details

What payment methods do you support?

We accept all popular payment networks, including American Express, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover! Today, you can manually add credit, debit, or prepaid cards to your Skipify account to breeze through checkout on future purchases. Once you add your supported cards, you can start taking advantage of all the rewards, benefits, and security Skipify has to offer.

How do I use Card Linking?

You can either click our “Buy Now” Skipify button, or proceed to guest checkout as you normally would and we’ll do the rest. Skipify works behind the scenes to identify you via email. If you have an eligible payment method, our bank and network partners will send you a one-time passcode to confirm that it’s really you. Just enter the code and voilà – you’ll be presented with your eligible payment methods to link.

Does it cost anything to check out using Skipify?

Nope! Skipify never adds additional fees to your transaction.

How can I sign up for Skipify?

You can sign up when checking out anywhere that uses Skipify. Just look for our logo!

How can I unenroll from Skipify?

You can unenroll at any time here or from your Shopper Dashboard if you have an account with Skipify.

How can I manage my account?

You can edit shipping, billing, and payment details during the checkout process. If you have additional questions, email our support team or chat with us directly by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner.

What if I have an issue with my payment method?

If you’re having an issue with your payment method, or have any concerns regarding purchases made with your credit or debit card, please contact your credit or debit card provider directly.

Are you an American Express Card Member? If so, please reference the customer service information provided on the back of your card.

My cards are gone! What happened?

If one or more payment methods are no longer available, you may have made changes with your card issuer that required us to remove them from your wallet. These changes may include canceling a card or requesting a replacement. Please reach out to your card issuer directly for more information. In the meantime, you can always add a new payment method to complete your transaction.

Why wasn’t my card linked to my Skipify wallet?

If you received an error when trying to link your card, you will need to call the number on the back of your card for more information. In the meantime, you can always select a different card or add a new payment method to complete your transaction.

Can I link corporate or business cards to my wallet?

At this time, only consumer cards can be linked from our bank and network partners, but you can always manually enter any card you want!

My card isn’t showing up!

Skipify needs to verify both a phone number and email address in order to link a card. Make sure you have an email address and phone number on file with your card issuer, and enter both of those when prompted by Skipify.


How is my information stored?

As a PCI Level 1 certified organization, your payment details are safely stored by Skipify under the same level of security that’s trusted by thousands of banks and credit card issuers across the globe. We work hard to protect your information and limit your exposure, so you can breeze through checkout safely.

How do you protect against fraud?

When you use Skipify, all transactions are monitored to protect against fraud. By working directly with bank and network partners, we do additional checks whenever you attempt to access your account to ensure that it’s really you! If you ever suspect fraud, please contact your bank or credit card provider immediately. How often do you update the security features?

Our engineers work tirelessly to keep your Skipify experience up-to-date and secure. We take this stuff seriously and are proud to be fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Promotion and Tracking

Can you help me confirm and track all of my online purchases?

Skipify focuses on simplifying your checkout experience. You’ll still get all of your shipping and tracking information directly from the merchant.

Are you going to send me a bunch of emails?

Nope! We’re here to make your checkout experience easier. If you want to receive updates about promotions then you’ll need to sign up directly with the merchant.

Is your customer service team just a bunch of robots?
